The General Electric CF6-80 engine

We are a partner with General Electric in the CF6-80 engine. This engine has a thrust range of 213-334 kN (48,000-75,000 lb), and powers aircraft such as Boeing 747/767, Airbus A330/A310/A300 and McDonnell Douglas MD-11. We produce the low pressure compressor spool 2-5, compressor spool 3-9, compressor rear frame and low pressure turbine case.

We are responsible for sustaining engineering and have performed several redesigns, most recently a redesign of the CF6-80E compressor rear frame in a different material.
