My roots lie in the east coast of Sweden, in Gävle and the ice hockey district Brynäs where I was born and raised. Even as a child I enjoyed discovering and learning to understand the world and all things in it, which in addition to a great interest in physics finally led me to Uppsala and master studies in Engineering Physics. Now work has taken me south to the west coast and the sunny town Trollhättan. In my leisure time I love to visit the opera, but spend as much time as possible on horseback and in the running track.

Towards the end of my studies the industry seemed far more appealing than academia, and so I participated in Uppsala School of Entrepreneurship to gain a specialization in engineering and business development. Afterwards, the Volvo Aero Young Graduate Programme seemed perfect, since it allows you to experience a new department each period of practice to feel your way towards your future career.

The Young Graduate Programme presents an amazing opportunity to gain a comprehensive picture of Volvo Aero and to build networks, whilst having great influence upon your own work and the trainee group activities. It will really be what you yourself choose to make of it!

In the course of the program so far I have been able to work with marketing and programs towards one of our largest customers and participate in the development project of a component for Rolls Royce Trent XWB and Airbus A350.

Simultaneously the group of graduates have made many exciting and interesting field trips both within and outside of the Volvo Group. Over the last seven months I have developed on both apersonal and professional level, and very much look forward to the rest of the graduate program.
