Into Space

Flying round the world was not enough. In the 70's the company joined the Joint European Space Programme. The company began manufacturing thrust chambers for the Viking engines of the Ariane launch vehicle. With specialization on combustion chambers, cooled nozzles and supersonic turbines, this led to a rapidly growing technical role, which involved participation in all generations of the Ariane launcher.

Today's space propulsion operations cover all phases of space projects; from technology programs and pilot studies for future engine systems to component development, prototypes and series production.
